September Pet of the Month

FALLing in love with our pets!

Even though Nashville temperatures might say otherwise, fall is right around the corner! Our pets can finally stand to be outside a little longer than normal and so can we!

Our Pet of the Month, Chessie, is an 8-year-old chocolate lab that was adopted from local rescue Snooty Giggles. (If you are thinking about adopting, check out our list below for adoption opportunities!) He loves to nap and sunbathe on his balcony, hang out on local bar patios, and say hi to his friends on the elevator. One of his favorite things about living at Aertson is how spacious the kitchens are so that there’s always room for him to be a sous chef. Chessie is always ready to give a polite handshake for a snack from the Aertson neighbors and staff!

Nashville is full of pet friendly events this season, but here are our favorite two:

  1. All Creatures Great & Small Adoption Day- It's the second annual All Creatures Great & Small Blessing of the Animals and Adoption Day at the Church of the Holy Trinity on the Trinity Triangle. Bring the kids, bless your pets, and adopt a rescue!

Adopt a pet, art, jewelry, photo booth & bake sale in the Parish Hall 10am-2pm.

Pet Blessing Service in the churchyard at 12 noon.
